I was always aware that I enjoyed helping others. My original career path was a bit different from real estate, to say the least. A native of Western New York, I graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.  After graduation, I worked as a Case Manager, assisting families in rebuilding communities through education and community involvement.  It was these connections that inspired me to become a police officer for the Buffalo, NY Police Department.

The daily negotiations as a police officer unwittingly prepared me for my next career as a real estate professional.  Working closely with families and communities gave me unfiltered access to what the term community truly means. I’ve learned that focusing on the goal and finding solutions is essential when negotiating someone’s largest financial instrument.

After retiring from public service in 2014, I soon relocated to the Charlotte area. Once here, I was immediately attracted to the energy, growth, and enthusiasm of the Queen City and it wasn’t long before Charlotte would become my new home.

In addition to working with clients to find their dream home, I’m an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast which is how I penned the name “Hiking Realtor.” I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, and various outdoor activities including Charlotte’s outdoor concert series.

Combining a passion for the outdoors with my career in real estate allows me to experience firsthand, green spaces, hiking trails, and other recreational venues that provide value to families’ lives.  Charlotte’s temperate climate and recreational waterways provide the perfect environment for family fun and entertainment.

I love it here in Charlotte and If you’re looking for a diverse, urban, progressive, and exciting place to live, Charlotte is the place to be.  A community with a modern Cosmopolitan feel coupled with Old Southern Charm … let me do the “Footwork” and find the perfect home for you!
